• MIDI Looping: While numerous audio looping apps exist, Infinite Looper takes this concept further by enabling swift selection of various synthesizers and perfectly synchronized MIDI looping across each one. Each instrument can simultaneously sustain up to eight loops of varying lengths, extending up to sixty-four measures.
• Internal SoundFont Engine: Featuring an extensive SoundFont library with hundreds of instruments and multiple drum kits built into the app, Infinite Looper provides a wide range of sounds including pianos, strings, guitars, brass, and synthesizers, offering everything needed to start creating immediately.
• Inter-App Audio: The app supports hosting IAA-compatible synth apps, allowing users to leverage a diverse array of innovative synths.
• MIDI In and Out: Recognizing MIDI from other apps, Bluetooth connections, and hardware controllers, Infinite Looper stands out as Secret Base Design, the developer behind Apollo MIDI over Bluetooth and musicIO app. Built using the MIDIbus library, the app ensures seamless MIDI functionality on iOS.
• More than Just Loops. Songs: Infinite Looper includes a loop sequencer that enables users to select different loop sets for various song sections, facilitating automatic progression through them to create intricate compositions.
• MIDI Export: Offering the capability to export MIDI files for songs created within the app, Infinite Looper allows users to transfer their compositions to professional desktop DAWs for further refinement.
• Keyboards and Pads: With a responsive piano-style keyboard and programmable pads for note/chord assignment, users can easily capture song ideas and enhance their musical focus.
• Quantization and MIDI Latency: Toggle quantization for precise timing or maintain a natural feel without it. The app compensates for MIDI message latency from external controllers, Bluetooth connections, or WiFi to ensure accurate timing adjustments.
